These terms apply when you use jahazi.city, join the Jahazi network, or apply to one of our programmes. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Jahazi is a network of founders, operators and investors based in Nairobi, Kenya. In these terms, “Jahazi”, “we” and “us” mean the people who run it, and “you” means anyone using the site.
You may use the site for your own personal and professional purposes. Please do not misuse it: do not try to break or overload it, gain access to parts of it you are not meant to reach, scrape it at scale, or use it to send spam or anything unlawful.
Joining our mailing list is free, and you can leave at any time. Applying to a programme does not guarantee a place. We choose participants at our discretion, and we may change, postpone or cancel a programme. If you are accepted, any specific terms for that programme, such as dates, costs and conduct, will be shared with you separately and will apply alongside these terms.
When you apply, please give honest and accurate information. We may decline or withdraw a place if an application is misleading.
Our programmes depend on people treating each other with respect. We may ask anyone who harasses, threatens or endangers others, or who seriously disrupts a programme, to leave.
The writing, design, logo and other content on the site belong to Jahazi or to the people who wrote them, unless we say otherwise. You are welcome to share links to our pages and quote short passages with credit. Please ask us before reusing anything else.
Blog posts reflect the views of their authors. Nothing on the site is financial, investment, legal or other professional advice.
The site links to other websites and services, including the forms we use for applications. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle information. Their own terms and policies apply.
We provide the site as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will always be error-free, complete or online.
As far as the law allows, Jahazi is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law.
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after a change, the updated terms apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
